Prothetics
Denture Care Lab provide all range of denture production services.
We provide full prosthetic dentures for clinics from full to partial; acrylic, cobalt chrome, and flexible dentures.
Our Altona based dental laboratory can precisely create dentures through the entire production from 3d rendering design, model production, to the completed restoration. Our process enables our dental technicians to customize each unit specific to the patient for a perfect and accurate fit.
Acrylic Dentures – Prosthetics
Acrylic dentures are the most cost-effective option out of all the denture choices.
They are the most cost efficient when it comes to replacing, repairing, or adding teeth to an existing denture. If tooth extraction is required for current teeth, then additional immediate teeth can easily be added to the partial denture or full denture as required.
At denture care laboratory we are also able to add mesh or a chrome cobalt base to the appliance for added strength. This can also be done in conjunction with discreet clasping if required by patient. Additionally, we can construct appliances with high impact acrylic, giving superior strength to the base.
Cast metal _ Chrome Cobalt - Prosthetist
Our chrome cast frameworks are made in Australia using Vitallium or Bega metal ingots. These frameworks are durable and offer greater comfort whilst being less susceptible to failure then traditional denture bases.
These ridged devices are much thinner and can be designed to the patients’ needs very easily.
Problems such as a poor prognosis of an abutment tooth can be accounted for with a mesh or acrylic backing and discrete clasping can also be employed on request.
Flexible Denture / Injection Molded – Prosthetics
Flexible Partial Dentures are made from thermoplastic. This is more cosmetically appealing due to the dentures blending in naturally to the gum line. Flexible dentures do not contain any metal therefore providing more natural and holistic approach to the dental appliance for patients. The thermoplastic nylon is used to clasp around the teeth and gingival tissue to create more natural blend compared to steel clasping.
Unlike acrylic dentures, they do not cover the entire palette and in doing so are less likely to cause difficulties while eating or communicating.
